Yes, we’re all sick of shitty AI. But like with anything else in life, there’s a silver lining. This week I’ve been trying Notebook LM, and I’m impressed.
Notebook LM can be applied to multiple goals, but I heard Luca Lampariello speaking about how he’s been using it to learn languages, and made real sense.
So I gave it a try with the transcript of episode 1 of my podcast. One of the outputs it produced is this podcast in the format of a very realistic conversation between two co-hosts discussing ‘The myth of a single Argentine Spanish’. This came out in English, but you can easily switch the language to Spanish (unfortunately not AR Spanish, though):
There are several wonderful options to engage with your topic of choice.
The interface may seem a bit intimidating, but it’s actually pretty intuitive. You should definitely give it a try!
