In case you missed the most peculiar YouTube video of the year, let me update you.
A guy got an octopus from a fish market and trained it to play piano. As any good youtuber would do, he documented each step of the process, until he gathered enough evidence to state his case.
Now, the video (as much as it seems) is not clickbait. The octopus actually learned some relevant skills for piano. No, it doesn’t play chords, not even melodies. But boy, did Tako make progress… I totally recommend watching it.
What this got me thinking is one proven fact: 95% of people don’t learn a foreign language to a conversational level because they quit.
This video is just another opportunity to learn the biggest lesson about learning: you need to put time, wit and effort to achieve your goals.
Happy Spanish learning!
